Join this community and explore being part of a functioning men's group. It's about connection and showing up, instead of going it alone. The group hears and explores our various challenges, highs, lows and wins! We talk honestly, listen respectfully, and figure some things out together. Over time, it helps to grow us into better friends, partners, dads, sons and humans. We all respect the leap of courage and self-worth it can take - just to come along to a men's group for the first time!

"It's simple and effective and uplifting. I have got so much from this group!"  Aaron

It’s not about having it all sorted, and you don't have to be a certain type of guy. Attendance is flexible; you choose when you want to show up. It's not a boys or bros club, religious or new-age. It's also not therapy or a self-help seminar. No fixing, preaching, or pressure. And it’s not a crisis service or a substitute for professional care. The sign-up form explains this in more detail.

You Can Expect To:

  • Practice listening and learn communication skills

  • Discover greater integrity and self-accountability

  • Be supported in building your emotional intelligence

  • Become a part of a hearty and diverse community

  • Have a good time - it’s often uplifting and inspiring

Joseph has been hosting regular men's groups for the last 15 years. This group will offer structured process and guided inquiries that draw on NVC, MBSR, active listening, gratitude and more. The Check-in Men's Group is a voluntary community offering that was first started back in 2011. The koha is just to cover our venue.
